Sounding a bit sneer but more a lovable, highly watchful though reckless and that unshackle from the proprietary cage to freedom, the puppy linux an extremely friendly companion of the newbies to the world of open source. Noted for its small size of 100 MB, the little puppy is live and fast even in old PC’s and demands only a minimum system requirements. 

Very vibrant in booting with a time of few seconds puppy is well known for 'Live' booting from CDs, DVDs, USB flash drives, and other portable Medias. Puppy linux includes a wide range of applications: word processors, spreadsheets, internet browsers, games, image editors, many other utilities and extra software in the form of dotpets. These features have indeed propelled puppy to the heart of many linux loving novice group.

Open source a viable alternative to traditional proprietary software

The dream of a fully open-source enterprise world is not as crazy as it sounds remarked Jim Whitehurst, CEO of Red Hat. It's already happening for Web startups. Plus, "the Amazons and Googles and Facebooks and Twitters are all running open source" he adds and by open source, he doesn't mean Red Hat. This is "broader than Red Hat," he says

When the global trend in the IT scenario emerges with Cloud computing, Service-centric architecture, Data privacy, IT security, Social platforms as a stack of business intelligence and prioritized user experience, the open-source is not viewed as a trend rather a potential enabler to all of these trends.

Jim Whitehurst, CEO of Red Hat to the press states “Now that Red Hat has become the first and only pure open-source company with a billion dollars in annual revenues, his goal is  the death (more or less) of proprietary software.”

He continues "We got to a billion dollars by convincing the world that open source is a viable alternative to traditional proprietary software," Whitehurst told Business Insider. "The next step is to make open source the default choice in this next generation of computing. That's what takes us from $1 billion to $5 billion and beyond."

When the global happening has set such a landmark, the hesitation in the choice of the technology that ought to rule the world and industry is baseless. So be prepared for the reality

A Tunisian guy to the 'Treasure trove of Virtualisation..'!!!!!

From the smallest country of North Africa, a man has come to the treasure-rich capital of God's own country to master the technology of RHCVA. Mr. Adnen Hammadi from Tunisia is excited about his first visit to the diverse land of unified people..He knows this place hosts a lot of tourist wonders. Pointing to our table calendar which pictuarises a beautiful row of coconut trees, he was full of words about the palm trees and nature of Tunisia..

Mr.Adnen graduated in the year 2005. Since then he is a true professional who knows the pulse of technology. His expertise lies with Unix and Linux..He served as a technical manager to various companies in Tunisia and Dubai.He is now the GM of Linsoft which he owns and Linsoft is a Red Hat Training Partner..He is a proud holder of prestigious certifications like RHCE, RHCI and CCNA. He has traveled all over emirates. IPSR is proud and privileged at the same time to offer training to a resourceful person like Mr.Adnen. Engulfed in the delight of success, a well started hunt for RHCDS

An oceanic joy of success broke upon the smart and vibrant learning platform of ipsr international centre as our overseas students Mr. Bobby Prins and Mr. Renout Jerrits, Unix System Engineers from PROXY Services B.V, DELFTWEG 128, Rotterdam, Netherlands has passed EX436 exam of RHEL held on 9th June 2012. It is noteworthy that these men have made it happen in just one week of RHCDS boot camp section at ipsr international centre. Their commitment and smart learning has no other alternative other than a big success at Redhat EX 436 (Clustering and storage management) exam. With gained confidence they have set similar target to the next module of RHCDS – EX 401
